Shopping for Austin Authors – Now Even Easier!

Great news, Austin!  BookPeople now has a local author section for kids & teens!  We just put it together this week, right next to our kids Texana section.  If you have a hankerin’ for some good local literature, come on into BookKids and check it out.

I, myself, am geekily excited to have all our wonderful local authors showcased in one place.  Austin has an amazing community of children’s writers and illustrators, and now we have a whole section of the store to prove it!

And fear not – we carry enough of most of these titles that they will remain shelved in their regular areas as well.  But how cool is it to have a place featuring homegrown Austin awesomness?!
